The weather is cooling down, the leaves are just starting to turn, pumpkins and apples are in season, and the library is ready for fall!
It's almost time for the 6th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
Contest Guidelines:
-Only a gourd or pumpkin may be used
-Entries must be painted, but the use of glue, glitter, paper, etc. is allowed
-No lewd, offensive, or inappropriate entries allowed
-Entries MUST NOT be pierced, cut, or carved
-Entries will be displayed in the library until judging is complete. (Pumpkins will only be held until October 31st.)
-There is no designated theme, be creative!
Judging Categories are:
Pee-Wee - Ages 3-7
Children - Ages 8-12
Teen - Ages 13-17
Adult - Ages 18+
Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category
Dates to Remember:
October 1st - Entries accepted
October 19th - Last day to enter
October 21st - Voting begins
October 28th - Winners announced
